Scope
The European Journal of Special Needs Education reflects the dynamic growth of the theory and practice of special needs education as it is emerging worldwide. Its focus is European, and it aims to provide a European space for discourse on these developments. Written for researchers and scholars in the field, it provides a forum for reporting scholarly research and advancing new thinking on issues related to special needs and inclusive education. Each issue includes contributions from a variety of different countries dealing with special needs at all levels of education. These are primarily research reports but may also include theoretical contributions and substantial literature reviews. There is also a conference diary with information on upcoming conferences in the field.
