How accurate are the journal recommendations?
In tests on 260 recently published papers, the journal that published each paper was in our top 10 about 20% of the time, and most suggestions share its subject area. Use the list as a starting point and check each journal's aims and scope.
Is my manuscript data secure?
Your title and abstract travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our server and to our AI provider (OpenAI) to produce the analysis. If you are not signed in, we do not save them. If you are signed in, each analysis is saved to My Manuscripts so you can come back to it, and you can delete it at any time. We never sell or publish your manuscripts.
How often is the journal database updated?
Journal metrics come from the SCImago Journal Rank (Scopus data) and are refreshed once a year when a new edition is published.
