Scope
The Journal of Child & Adolescent Mental Health aims to contribute towards the development of a robust and inclusive knowledge base for child and adolescent mental health across diverse contexts. To this end the Journal seeks to promote coverage, representation and dissemination of high quality work from around the world that traverses high-, middle- and low- income contexts. Papers from all disciplines addressing child and adolescent mental health are welcome, including specific focus areas such as psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, phenomenology, epidemiology, mental health prevention and promotion, community-based interventions, dissemination research and policy. The Journal publishes original research (including brief reports and case series, but not single case reports), review articles, clinical reports within an evidence-based framework in a ‘Clinical Perspectives’ section, book reviews, and letters to the editor.
